I still remember April 2007 when I first met my darling wife Sweetie.

Ours was a love cum arranged marriage.

My parents were on the lookout for a partner for me, for a long time. Then one fine day our parents contacted each other and shared numbers.

I remember the first call I made to my wife. Things seemed ok for me as we had not seen each other.

The next couple of days we spoke over the phone and got to know each other better.

During our conversations, I felt that she was a very simple girl.

Since she used to address me as Ji and all that I thought she might be a very chubby and fat girl.

Even though we stayed in the same city, we'd only talk over the phone.

Then the day came when we were supposed to meet.

I still remember every single moment of that day.

I took one gerbera flower with me as I felt that a rose would be too much for a first meeting.

I reached the venue and was eagerly waiting for her to arrive. Then I saw one girl in maroon kurta pyjama approaching towards me.

My heart started beating faster and I prayed "God, Jab We Met stories!

'When she is not at home I get restless'

Then we spent a couple of hours together.

I felt on top of the world.

After a few days of courtship we were madly in love and had already decided that we will marry each other irrespective of the circumstances.

We got married the same year.

We were also blessed with a daughter and suddenly life became so fast that we fell short of time for each other.

Most of our time was spent taking care of our daughter.

Financial and professional commitments kept us busy all the time.

Despite our hectic schedules I still love her from the bottom of my heart and given the number of years we have spent together it's quite impossible for me to live in her absence.

When she is not at home I get restless.

Today I want to tell my wife Sweetie that I still love you very much.

You made my life more wonderful and beautiful.

Thanks for being with me and Happy Valentines Day.
