Those of you who are avid celeb-watchers, both nationally and internationally, will know what the latest fashion trends are as colours that pop out, unusual cuts and sheer fabrics continue to dominate the fashion scene.

Which is why it won't come as a surprise to see what popstars like Rihanna, fashion darling Tom Ford and well-established names like Westwood brought to the ramp at the recent London Fashion Week.

The Milan Fashion Week, meanwhile, kicked off with bold collections to persuade Italian shoppers that the worst of the economic crisis is over and it is time to hit the stores again.

Fashion houses like PPR's Gucci, Giorgio Armani and Prada, who exhibited their 2013-14 autumn-winter collections in Milan, carried forward the baton from London.
