Delhi University to host its first job fair on June 11

What

The Delhi University School Union will be organising their first ever job fair on June 11 and 12, 2013 12 at the Delhi University North Campus ground.

The two-day event will be an opportunity for job seekers to be interviewed for jobs across the sectors such as IT, FMCG, real estate, health care, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and others.

Besides interacting with potential recruiters, students can also avail of the motivational speeches by corporate leaders, counselling sessions, personality development and other requisite trainings all of which will act as a training ground to excel in the corporate atmosphere.

Arun Hooda, President of Delhi University Students Union and the man behind the idea of DUSU job fair said that the objective behind the job fair is "to facilitate a direct interaction between job seekers and the employers while offering the candidates a formal training about what to expect and how to prepare to be successful during job interviews."

Besides, India's top educational institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi College of Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia and Amity University are also likely to participate in the fair.

The fair will be held on June 11 and 12, 2013, between 10 am and 7 pm.

Sports Complex, Delhi University, North Campusc

Who can apply

Fresh graduates who have recently completed their education or those who have a professional experience of one or two years can participate in the fair.

How to apply

Entry to the fair is free. Students will have to carry their identity proof -- a college identity card or a voter's id should suffice.
