This latest avenger from Sony Corp comes loaded with features and specs to make you instantly fall in love with the tablet.

Coming for a price close to Rs 47,000, it might seem a bit over-priced, but with the features it has been embedded with, this can be one of the best buys, reckons Meenal Singh.

The Sony Xperia Z tablet features 10.1-inch TFT screen and runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system. Driven by 1.5GHz Quad Core processor, the Xperia Z teams up with a mammoth 2GB RAM to boost up its operating speed. This exquisite tablet is a true epitome of performance and perfection. It is blessed with 16GB of internal memory and comes with 3G connectivity.

Sony, better known for its lifestyle products, has made sure that the Xperia Z is no different. Sony has made the device 'water-resistant', a magnificent feature that will further add to the USP of the product.

Sony Xperia Z Tablet comes equipped with 8.1MP of primary camera that clicks pictures on 3264 x 2448pixel. The camera is equipped with autofocus and 16x digital zoom, and the pictures taken by it are really good and sharp.

The camera also records video on Full HD 1080p resolution and shoots at 30fps (frames per second). The camera is equipped with Exmor R for mobile sensor, a CMOS image sensor developed by Sony that provides best in class picture quality.

Also the camera has got Continuous Burst Mode, Scene Recognition, Sweep Panorama, Smile Detection, Face Detection and Touch Focus, features that make photography easy.

Sony Xperia Z Tablet has 2G (GPRS and EDGE) and 3G (HSDPA and HSUPA) along with LTE and Cat3 ports.

You can get up to 107Kbps speed on GPRS, up to 296Kbps speed on EDGE, up to 42Mbps speed on HSDPA, and up to 5.8Mbps on HSUPA.

The tablet is blessed with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA along with Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP wherein, you can transfer data at a very high speed with the latest Bluetooth version.

It is powered by 6000mAh Lithium Ion battery that provides standby time up to 1230 hours (2G), up to 1270 hours (3G), talk time up to 10 hours (with multimedia playback), and gives continuous music playback of 110 hours.

The performance seems commendable and the tablet is a way too fair deal at this price point.
