At what age are you most popular? 29. Apparently!

That's the age when you have the most friends says a survey.

Congratulations dear 29-year-old!

If a food firm Genius Gluten Free is to be believed you are at the peak of your popularity!

In other words, it is all downhill from here!

According to the good folks at GGF you are (on an average) likely to have about 80 friends in your life.

This is about 30 per cent more than those by other age groups (poor old us have only 65 friends on an average).

The GGF guys have come to this conclusion after surveying (and you may have to sit down for this) all of 1505 people from Great Britain!

When you think of it though it makes sense, those in their late 20s are still young enough to keep in touch with their school, college/university friends and at the same time develop new friendship at their workplaces.

29 is admittedly a great age to be in.

You are wise but not wise enough, old but not old enough, free to do what you want but not naive to be swayed by bad company.

So there you go dear 29-year-olds! Congratulations on being one!

It won't last very long -- 52 weeks to be precise -- so make the most of each of the day of each of that week of the 29th year of your life.

Like every other year gone by, you will most definitely not get it back.

Unless of course you've invented time travel... in which case, can we come on board too?
