Pakistan recall Mushtaq AhmedPakistan's cricket selectors on Thursday recalled leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed for next month's triangular one-day series against Zimbabwe and the West Indies. There is, however, no place in the 17-man squad for the injured trio of Saeed Anwar, Azhar Mahmood and Saqlain Mushtaq in the series starting in the West Indies on Saturday. Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Tauqir Zia said in Sharjah that the team for the three-Test series, which follows the one-dayers, will be announced later. Mushtaq returns to the side after missing the triangular series in Australia in January, the home series against Sri Lanka and the ongoing Sharjah Cup. "I expect Anwar, Azhar and Saqlain to be fit for the Tests, but they are not ready for the one-dayers yet," Zia said. Pakistan, who fly out to the Caribbean after the Sharjah Cup final against South Africa here on Friday, face a hectic schedule over the next four months. After the West Indies tour ends in the last week of May, they travel to Bangladesh for the four-nation Asia Cup (May 26-June 6), followed immediately by a 45-day tour of Sri Lanka. The Pakistan squad for the triangular series in the West Indies: Moin Khan (capt), Inzamam-ul Haq (vice-capt), Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Naveed, Wajahatullah Wasti, Younis Khan, Yousuf Youhanna, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis, Mohammad Akram, Abdur Razzaq, Imran Nazir, Arshad Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed, Atiq-ur Zaman (reserve wicket-keeper), Mohammad Wasim Coach: Javed Miandad
