Indian cricketers victims of racial discrimination: Bharti
Union Sports Minister Uma Bharti on Friday said the six Indian cricketers, who have been given controversial punishments by the International Cricket Council match-referee Mike Denness during the second cricket Test match against South Africa, were 'victims of racial discrimination'.
Bharti, however, ruled out any government intervention on the issue.
The minister said she was awaiting a report from the Board of Control for Cricket in India on the whole controversy.
