Nowadays I am not watching comedy movies to relax myself instead I am keenly watching our Indian cricket selectors' statements and their actions.

The following are extracts of those comedies made by the Indian cricket selectors in the recent past.

Here we go!
- When the Indian team management is in need of an off spinner our selectors have given them an opening batsman.
- Our selectors are more interested in grooming youngsters so they will include 36 year old Dighe but exclude Robin Singh, who is more agile and athletic on the field.
- Saba Karim, who had not recovered from an eye injury, got selected in the Test against Bangladesh at Dhaka and the reason for his selection was justified by saying "he was captain's choice"
- Venkatesh Prasad who was the main member in the Indian bowling attack when Srilanka made the world record for the highest score in an innings is again got selected for the Sri Lankan tour for no reason.
- Ajit Agarkar was not included in the team announced earlier for the South Africa and the reason stated for his exclusion is "he is not in fit and not in fine form". But later when Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan were not fit, Agarkar was included in the Indian team.
- Selectors have selected Deep Dasgupta, who stood exposed, leaving the selectors red-faced but they will continue with him for the Test series.
To conclude I can say "No wonder Mohinder Amarnath had referred these selectors as a ``bunch of jokers.''
