What: Bacardi Bar League announces the launch of the India leg of the Bacardi Martini Grand Prix, a globally recognised competition for bartenders.

Details

~ Bacardi-Martini Grand Prix is an international competition for bartenders promoted by the Bacardi-Martini Group and International Bartenders Association to find the best working professionals.

~ Contest categories

  • Mixology: You must submit one creative cocktail with an original recipe using Bacardi Carta Blanca as the base.
  • Flair (Open Disco): You have to execute a working flair and performance flair routine.

~ You will be judged by a jury, which includes hospitality industry professionals and food and beverage writers.

~ Bacardi Martini Grand Prix-India will begin its search for India's most talented bartender through regional competitions.

~ Bacardi will sponsor the trip of the regional winners to Mumbai as well as an all expense paid trip of the national winner to Italy.

~ The national winner will represent India in the Bacardi Martini Grand Prix 2007.

~ The regional winners will get attractive cash prizes and certificates. 

~ Bacardi-Martini Grand Prix is one of the largest international competitions held each year in Italy.

Important dates 

~ Please send in your entries before August 7.

~ The regional competitions will be held as follows:

  • Delhi: August 29, 2006
  • Mumbai: September 4, 2006
  • Bangalore: September 7, 2006
  • Hyderabad: September 12, 2006
  • Kolkata: September 12, 2006

~ The national finals will be held in Mumbai.
