What: TATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES announces Post-Graduate Degree Programme in Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship, 2007-2009.
Details:
~ 15 seats available for two-year, full time programme drawing from management, social development, economics, innovation and entrepreneurship.
~ Graduates are expected to be absorbed in the fast-growing profit and non-profit entrepreneurial sectors.Requirements:
~Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with minimum aggregate marks of 50% (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade from a recognised university. Those completing their final year Bachelor's Degree examination by July 31, 2007 are eligible to apply, provided they have obtained the required minimum percentage of marks specified above.

By sending a request letter to the Deputy Registrar (Gen. Admn.) of the Institute along with a
Demand Draft for Rs 750, drawn in favour of Registrar, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai
By downloading the form from www.tiss.edu and submitting it with the processing fee of Rs 750 to be paid in cash at the Institute cash counter or by a Demand draft.
From the cash counter at TISS, Mumbai against cash payment of Rs 750.
Unemployed SC/ST candidates, whose parents/guardian's income were Rs 1,00,000 or below for financial year 2006-2007 can obtain the application form free of cost. They can download the form from website: www.tiss.edu and submit it along with a true copy of Caste/ Tribe Certificate and the Income Certificate or they can send request letter along with a true copy of Caste/ Tribe Certificate, Income Certificate and self-addressed cloth lined envelope (20cm x 28 cm) to the Deputy Registrar (Gen. Admn.) of the Institute.
RESERVATION: Government of India norms applicable for admission of SC/ ST/ OBC, Persons with Disability (PWD) and international students will be followed.
