What: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd requires 350 Engineers/ Officers.
Details:
~ Disciplines include Fire Engineering, Boiler Operations (BOEs) and Human Resources.
~ Forty nine will be selected as Graduate Apprentice Engineers who will be absorbed as officers after a year's training.
Are you qualified?
~ A candidate should be a graduate with minimum 65 percent marks if from the Engineering discipline, and 60 percent if from the HR discipline, from a recognised university
~ Age Limit- Not exceeding 26 years for Engineers/GAEs/Management Graduates(HR) and 28 years for BOEs as on 30th June 2007 (relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for SC /ST /EXSM, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for the physically challenged).
~ A candidate should be of sound mental and physical health.
~ Colour blindness is a disqualifying factor for Engineers and those applying in BOEs.
Important dates:
~ The online registration of application commences on May 2 and closes on May 23.
~ Written test will be held on July 8.
~ Last date for submission of application forms is June 2.

~ Read the instructions carefully and fill up the online application form giving accurate information.
~ Print out your filled-in application form, put your signature in the space provided for it, and send it to the address provided below by Ordinary Post, along with a demand draft/ banker's cheque for Rs 300/- drawn on the State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687) in favour of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (Refineries Division) payable at New Delhi (enter the details of the demand draft/bankers cheque details in the online application form).
~ Also enclose an attested copy of a caste/ disability certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH, and
write 'Application for the post of Engineer/ Officer in IOCL -- 2007', along with your discipline and category at the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
