Eligibility
~ BE/BTech (1st year program): 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST)in aggregate of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science at +2 level. Selection is based on AIEEE rank
~ BE/BTech (Lateral entry: Selection is through LEET-TU
~ MCA/MSc (Biotech): Graduate in Science
~ Msc: BSc in respective subject
~ ME/MTech/PhD: GATE qualification is preffered. Non-GATE qualified candidates will have to appear for Entrance Test
Application procedure
Prospectus along with application form containing the details of eligibility, number of seats, reservation of seats, counselling/admission schedule, fees etc. and other details can be had at the University counter on payment of Rs 1000/- Or by post through Bank Draft of Rs 1050/- in favour of Registrar, Thapar University, Patiala from the office of the Registrar or can be downloaded from university website www.thapar.edu or one can apply online.
Prospectus and application form will be available from March 28, 2008 onwards.
