What: All-India Free Scholarship Test for the aspirants of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) on March 1st, 2009.

About the Scholarship

It is an all-India examination conducted by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. GATE-2010 will be conducted on 14th February, 2010.

The Free Scholarship Test will be conducted in the new pattern of GATE which has been introduced in GATE 2009.

The test will be conducted in the engineering disciplines of Computer Science & Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Benefits

By taking this test the aspirants of GATE will be able to evaluate their performance by comparing themselves with students from all over India (35 cities). The results of the test in terms of all-India rank and percentile score will be available on the Web site www.gateforum.com. 

The students will also be able to evaluate their performance in each topic of the test through the section wise comparative analysis, which is provided along with the test results.

What's in it for me?

The all-India top three rankers of each stream in this test would be given 100 per cent scholarship for any of the Gateforum packages: Classroom Coaching, eTutor (online coaching), Correspondence Course, All India Test Series and Online Test Series.

In addition, the top rankers in each city would be given scholarships up to 50 per cent for any Gateforum package they choose. More than 600 scholarships are available across India based on the March 1st test.
