What sparked this sudden request was the famous Kohinoor diamond, which through the ages has caught the fancy of many, including invaders and kings.
Attending a function organised on Wednesday by diamond maker Shobha Asar in Mumbai, Kareena was asked by the media what gift she would like from saif. "I would love to have a Kohinoor diamond," she laughed.
But as the famous diamond is the property of Great Britain, the actress decided to settle for a pair of diamond earrings as "diamonds are a girl's best friend."
Now, here's a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid of asking for it!
