The bodies of two Pakistani terrorists gunned down in Noida encounter on the eve of Republic Day will be preserved in view of the ongoing probe by police and intelligence agencies, a senior police office said on Monday.

Senior superintendent of police, Noida, Naveen Arora said the bodies of the militants will not be buried but kept intact at Meerut Medical College.

"The bodies will be kept intact and under strict security," Arora told PTI after the medical college authorities approached him for the disposal of the corpses.

Arora said he had written to college superintendent to ensure that bodies are preserved as they may be needed during
investigations by intelligence or other investigating agencies.

The UP Police had on January 24 shot dead Farooq, a resident of Pakistan's Okara district, the native place of Mumbai terror attack accused Mohammad Kasab, and Abu Ismail from Rawalakot while they were trying to enter Delhi from neighbouring Ghaziabad.
