Arjun Saluja decided to let the audience determine the theme of his collection for the spring/summer installment 2010 of the LFW. Accordingly, a blank page and crayons were issued to each audience member instead of a concept note at the start of the show. Here are the latest offerings from his label Rishta.
A loose kaftan blouse makes its entrance, combined with a dramatic asymmetrical skirt.
Soft olive satin drapes voluminously on a dress worn under a cloak wrap.
Fabric shingles seem to be hanging off this grey dress, with its radically deviating hemline.
This midi seems to flow outwards from the pinch at the waist, with panels adorning the bodice.
This is a first -- a guy in a jumpsuit, complete with rouching and lady-like sleeves! Oh, well, whatever works for you.
Just when you think Saluja's losing the plot, he's back with another wearable checkered number.
Jodhpurs don't get any more exaggerated than this -- so you know where to turn if you want to make a statement.
A tent-like maxi juxtaposes a checkered print and pristine white satin.
Soft yet futuristic, a pale billowing ensemble sails out as the showstopper.
Saluja makes an appearance wearing rouched harem pants, which, it turns out, look pretty hep!
