Luxury brand Chivas Regal organised The Chivas Studio, a 3-day event in Mumbai over the weekend, showcasing the latest in art, photography, sculpture, jewellery, music and fashion. Here's a look at a joint showing by designers Gauri and Nainika and JJ Valaya.

First up was duo Gauri and Nainika's line and they stuck to what they do best -- cocktail couture. Here, Indrani Dasgupta strikes a pose in a hot brown strapless number.

Next we have model Sania Sheikh in this yellow satin flouncer.

A basic black ensemble like this can never go wrong -- every girl should have at least one in her closet!

And finally, we have Binal Trivedi strike a pose in this hot pink outfit.

Next up was Valaya, with his collection, The Nomadic Royal. Whimsical, bold, sophisticated and ethnic, here's a glimpse of what the veteran designer offered up, starting with this waifish beige sari.
