Inspired by the rich heritage of Kolkata City's colonial history and its modern existence, designer Nilanjan Ghosh showcased a fashion line titled 'Babu, Bibi Aur Keta' on the third day of the LFW. Drapes, 3D silhouettes and pin tucks defined most of the outfits -- take a look.

We start off with this all-brown outfit, set off by red suspenders and gladiator sandals.

It's not often you see so many colours on a jacket, nor a bow-tie without a shirt worn underneath!
A kurta is worn over a sheer red sari with blue petticoat to create an ultraviolet-like effect.
This churidaar kurta outfit is dominated by the coral tone -- and that handbag is pretty neat too.

Alicia Raut struts her stuff in a funky layered blouse with a cowl hanging down from the neck, much like a jacket.

This number is 3D at its best, with gathers, draping and silky touches.

With its dirty yellow tone and cotton border, this sari makes for an interesting drape.

Nicole Faria shows off a pretty tunic with gathered sleeves and summery hues.

Ghosh looks relaxed on the runway in bermudas and sneakers alongside his models at the end of the show.
