The jewellery showing on Day Two of HDIL India Couture Week was studded with both precious stones and stars.
Glitter and glam were served up in liberal doses at the jewellery showing of HDIL India Couture Week, with several celebrities taking to the ramp in a dazzling array of gems.
Designers Queenie Singh, Raj Mahtani and Maheep Kapoor showcased a line each and by the end of it, we needed a pair of shades to protect our eyes from all the shine! Take a look.
We start off with a glimpse of Kapoor's collection, dedicated to celebrate the strong, independent women of Mumbai. The garments that complimented her pieces were designed by Sohail's wife Seema Khan.
Ayesha Takia opened the show, with a bright lace diamond necklace and an attitude to match.
Fardeen's wife Natasha Khan strutted her stuff in a diamond choker with circular design.
Pretty in precious stones
Amrita Puri of Aisha fame was a pretty picture in a diamond and emerald neckpiece.
Model-turned-fitness trainer Deanne Pandey donned a pearl and diamond choker for her turn on the ramp.
Actress Ira Dubey also modelled Kapoor's creations -- an emerald and pearl drop necklace and matching ring.
Ravishing in rubies
Dabangg beauty Sonakshi Sinha, who seems to have a neverending affair with the ramp, was the final entry, wearing a flowing diamond and ruby neckpiece.

Next we have Queenie Singh's opulent line of jewels, teamed with a line of garments by Nandita Mahtani.

Retro Mughal New York Chic
And finally, we come to Raj Mahtani's 'Retro Mughal New York Chic' collection, which boasted of several thick chokers almost like Elizabethan collars like the one you see here, in jade, polkis and pearls.
Another chunky piece takes to the ramp, with pearls, emeralds and polkis set in yellow gold; a matching hairpiece adds to the effect.
A thick gold plate and matching earrings provide the perfect setting for a large ruby drop that looks worthy of a king's ransom.
Large uncut diamonds adorn a towering tiara, while a gold band and pearl danglers create their own magic.
Row it right
Row upon row of different stones cascade into a gold woven mesh border on this creative necklace.
Candice Pinto models a a bowl-shaped collar necklace that rises from below the neck and is studded with clusters of pearls.
Raveena Tandon steps out in style wearing Mahtani's showstopping creation, a gigantic polki necklace that hangs down nearly to the navel. To add to it, there's a matching hairpiece and earrings too!
