ATP Masters Cup
Andre Agassi, who beat German Rainer Schuettler in the semi-final, became the oldest finalist in a year-end event since Arthur Ashe.
In the 1978 Masters in New York, Ashe made it to the final aged 35 years, 6 months. Agassi was 33 years, 6 months on Sunday.
