Schumacher won a record 11 races, finishing with 144 points and won by a margin of 67 points over Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barrichello.

It was a dominant year for Ferrari, but it was also marked by controversy after Ferrari ordered Barrichello to let Schumacher win in Austria.
