Two days before the holiday there is not much Christmasy activity in her home. "I have made some sweets. But we have been busy with the farm work and have not had time." Her daughter Jacqueline, however, has been working overtime, putting together orders for X'mas flowers. Her handmade poinsettas sell for Rs 12
a piece. A large order has come in for decorations for a local church. And Jacqueline has her job cut out for her. Her friend Dolly, two cottages away, does embroidery. Dolly has been engrossed in sewing dresses for the Feast of Cashmira.
