When I was signed on for Lal Badshah, I was thrilled. I would be working with Mr Amitabh Bachchan!
I kept forgetting my lines -- I was so nervous. He was wonderful about it. Would actually help me with my scenes.
ON the sets, he was so down to earth. He would talk to the spot boys, fool around with all of us. There was never a feeling that he was the great Amitabh Bachchan. He never intimidated you.
I have also done shows with him, have been on a world tour. And I have found him a delight to work with. He made us all feel special.
You can see his professionalism despite his lighthearted banter on the sets. You can learn so much just by watching him.
I have always been an ardent fan of Amitji. I just love him. So when I got the opportunity to work with him, I jumped at it.
It is an experience I can never forget. Even after so many years of work, he is so focused, so dedicated and punctual.
THAT he is an institution is not just a cliché. Sharing the same frame with him was an honour. He was so encouraging. He is always jovial with everybody, never aloof.
I love the way he speaks -- always using the correct words -- it's fun listening to him talk, he's such a good talker.
Now, my sister Shamita is also working with him in Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein.
She's so full of stories about him when she comes home after shooting with him...
