When the sun was beating down on us this past summer, we asked readers to send in their unusual summer pics -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers.
Now, with the rains upon us, it's time to switch to a slightly wetter theme like Sini Vijit, who sent in this lovely image, saying, "This picture was taken by my husband at our farmhouse in Kerala, when the first rains touched the soil. It was amazing to be there when the monsoons began."
We want you to send in your interesting monsoon snapshots so we can share them with other readers. They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to firstname.lastname@example.org (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones right here on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is the monsoons, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!
