Supermodel Gisele Bundchen returned to the catwalk, looking svelte as ever, just six months after giving birth to her first child. The 29-year-old wore a series of short dresses by designer Jessica Lengyel during Sao Paulo Fashion Week, reported Daily Mail online.
Bundchen, who retained her position as the highest earning model despite taking a break to give birth, is mother to son Benjamin with husband Tom Brady. The supermodel recently revealed that she had maintained a fitness regime throughout her pregnancy, including kung fu and yoga.
"I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds," she said.
Last month the supermodel was named the world's highest paid model by Forbes. She picked up the accolade in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and is reported to have made USD 25 million over the last year.
Earnings have come from high-profile campaigns for the likes of True Religion jeans and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as her own skin care line and sandals brand, Ipanema by Gisele.
