Designer duo Rohit K Verma and Sanjeet Anand launched their haute couture collection from new label Sarv Atelier in Mumbai last week.
An astounding nine collections made their way onto the ramp -- Rapture & Roses (a wedding gown collection with elegant Victorian silhouettes); Five Metre Wonders (sarees); Drama Of Layers (corsets and layers of fabric); Drapes De Amor (stone and sequin-embellished jackets teamed with sharara pants); The Gypsy Collection (corsets and skirts embellished with hand painting); Divine Visage (dyed prints); Red Carpet (gowns in chiffon and georgette); Ethno Chic (chiffon, satin and georgette with lace applique); and the Bridal Collection (heavily embroidered wedding lehenga sets).
Modelling the luxurious garments were high-profile models such as Noyonika Chatterjee, Shonal Rawat and Jesse Randhawa. Seen here is the lovely Anupama Verma in a fitted, bejewelled corset complete with undulating ruffled skirt.
