Toxin, Nachiket Barve's latest range showcased on Day Two of the LFW, was predictably enough, inspired by deadly creatures of the deep.

Drawing on the dazzling colours of sea anemones, poison dart frogs and box jellyfish, the designer has also employed organic motifs like amphibian skin, tentacles and stingers to accentuate his theme. Tave a look.

Model Nicole Faria starts the show in this colour-blocked, layered maxi with sequined straps.

Strut your stuff in style

Next we have a pleated shibori yoke dress in orange and Aztec green, showing off a Mexican brooch.

Embroidered applique

A layered blue-red flared number shows off embroidered applique at the neckline and contrasting straps.

One point drop

Marianna Dias sizzles in a one point drop cascade front gown.

Chocolate affair

Layered and flaired, neckline embroidery and a cascading back define Barve's next number in chocolate brown and orange.

A little goes a long way

Blue, turquoise and orange play hide and seek with the predominant sap green.

Embroidered elegance

Pleated hemline, contrast straps and a cone snail pattern make for a pretty picture.

Chic chiffon

A see-through blue shiffon coat jazzes up a fuschia-orange outfit.

Jazzy mix 'n' match

The final creation of the showing is an organza coat with lurex applique embroidery, teamed with a sunny chiffon-crepe dress.

Flanked by toxic fashion

Barve gives the audience a wide grin as his models applaud.
