Naga tribal stories at Lakme FW

Day Four of the LFW saw Naga designer Imcha Imchen draw inspiration from the tribals of his home state to create a vivacious line of organic cottons and silks. Vegetable dyes, block prints, basket weaves, draped Chandewri dresses and double-layered tops were all seen on the runway. Here's a glimpse of the collection: How Many Stories Do You Read On My Face.

First up is model Freddy Daruwala, sporting just a wrap. Don't miss the tribal accessories.

Pretty panelling

We love the sky-blue skirt with the panel down the front. The white bolero and matching top are also a neat combo.

See-through style

Summer is the time guys can sport see-through shirts and tees galore, as long as they don't look feminine! This cool shirt is ideal for those hot, sultry days at the beach.

Print pret

A grey V-necked tee with circular print goes well with white bermudas. Don't miss those gladiators for men!

Anti fits

Loose, flowing, anti fits -- they're all pegged as the next big thing. So pick up a pair of similar cropped pants for next season. And while you're at it, a waistcoat too.

Blockin' blue

Surelee Joseph looks demure in this silk number with block print, don't you think?

Trendy trail

Opt for shift-style, loose blouses and jazz them up with a pair of funky pants like these -- don't miss the tie-up detailing at the bottom.

Double effect

And finally we have this pretty creation, which exudes a casual feel with gladiator sandals, but would make the cut for a cocktail party too. So here's to the versatility of tribal inspirations!
