Pakeezah, Umrao Jaan inspire Virtues' bridals

Ashish and Viral Parikh of Virtues displayed a gorgeous line of classic formal ethnicwear on Day Four of Lakme Fashion Week.

Inspired by Bollywood masterpieces Pakeezah and Umrao Jaan, intricate embroidery from a by-gone era adorned the heavy lehengas, robes and kalidars. Here is the aptly-named Forever range.

A lovely Benarasi flaired skirt with embroidered halter choli is teamed with churidaar pants and an embroidered dupatta.
