We invited you to send in unique rain-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are some more responses!
First up is this one from regular contributor Prasun Sanyal, of New Delhi who says, "It was taken with my mobile phone. I was in a cab returning from my office when a huge shower came down and all the bikers and pedestrians were standing under the flyover, waiting for the rain to shop. This is on the NH-8 Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway."
Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones right here. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is the monsoons, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this cute pic of a squirrel on what is presumably its home, from Santhakumar V of Batesville, Indiana. He says, "The lighting effect is really good in this season because of the greenery around the area."
Jayakrishnan T U sent in this one, saying, "I clicked this snap right in front of my flat in Kodihally a couple of weeks back. Bangalore was getting ready for a thunderstorm."
We received this photograph from Rajashekar Shetty, who explains, "This picture was taken in July at Malshej Ghat, which is nestled in the lofty rugged hills of the Western Ghats. It was a magical moment with fog and low-hanging clouds creating an illusion of a wonderland."
And finally, we have this image from Vinay, of a rough monsoon sea and a ship that ran aground 10 years ago tossing on it.
