Here's what was on offer on Day Two of the India International Jewellery Week, underway in Mumbai from August 15-19.
The second round of showings at the country's first ever jewellery-fashion fusion event saw a lot more sparkle on the catwalk (for a glimpse of Day One, where Katrina and Deepika were among the showstoppers, click here).
While celebs like Ayesha Dharker and Eesha Koppikar Narang strutted their stuff this time around, the who's who of the Indian modelling circuit also showed off just why they're in demand on the ramp in their most glittery and glam avatars. Take a look.
First up we have jeweller DC Jewellers' line of gems, with model Pia Trivedi kicking off things in beautiful sea-shell-themed earrings, bangles and cocktail ring.
The designer then switches to gold, with this contouring neckpiece, chandelier earrings and solid wrist cuff.
Ponds-Femina Miss India-Earth 2010 Nicole Faria was also a part of the proceedings, modelling a thick gold set with red and green hints of gemstone.
Anchal Kumar, rumoured to be cricketer Yuvraj Singh's girlfriend, poses in a traditional Indian bridal set, embellished once again with large gemstones.
Those are certainly eye-poppingly large polki diamonds we see adorning Candice Pinto's choker and danglers.
Anjali Lavanya shows us how to accessorise right with just a pair of chunky earrings and cocktail ring.
Stunning in a fuschia gown, Eesha Narang was certainly the cynosure of all eyes when she stepped out wearing this amazing diamond set.
Next up is the offerings of Eekani Jewels, starting with this jaw-dropping set worthy of any red carpet -- those rubies are as large as grapes!
Those are certainly two sets of tantalising diamond danglers, the second pair set off by a matching emerald-embellished necklace.
This set, with circular motif and ruby drops, marks the next showing, by Geetanjali Lifesyle.
Alesia Raut poses in another traditional bridal set, embellished with large pink gemstones.
We see model Pia Trivedi once more, in the first of Golecha Jewellers' offerings -- a gold sun-disc motif, lined with polki diamonds.
We see polki diamonds adorning a choker and danglers, while the mang tikka and second necklace boast of pearls and gold beads respectively.
Candice Pinto looks demure in an opulent neckpiece, mang tikka and jhumka earrings, all of which mix every stone imaginable.
And here she is again kickstarting the next show for Kundan Meena Jewellers, in a pair of jhumkas and necklace that appear to be embellished with primarily pink tourmalines and pearl drops.
How about that? Maybe this enormous polki neckpiece will be appreciated by metrosexuals -- provided they can afford it!
These cluster earrings, strings of pearls and a large pendant are the very epitome of Indian design.
Sangam Chains decided that they wanted everyone to sit up and take notice and their plan worked -- check out this overstated gold necklace, suspended from a string of pearls and ending in polki droplets.
There's too much of fuss and feathers to this outfit, taking away from the creativity of the necklace, made up of two completely different motifs and varying shades of gold.
Here we see both a long chain and a short one in contrasting design, each dotted with generously large gems.
And finally we have actress Ayesha Dharker showstopping for Solitaire in an intricate necklace that has enormous polkis, pearls and gemstones adorning it. What a whopper!
