Unusual monsoon pics: Rainy shadows on the bridge

We invited you to send in unique rain-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are some more responses!

First up is this image from Abhishek Rane in Mumbai, which shows a typical rainy evening scenario in the city as people go about their business with umbrellas. "It was clicked at Matunga Bridge," he says.

Nimish Gupta from Gurgaon sent in this pretty pic, saying, "I took this photo of a white, captivating beauty all drenched in rain dew drops on a recent trip to the US."

Houseboat under cloud cover

This scenic picture was captured by Mohanraj N, who says, "This was taken in Allepey (Kerala) in the month of May this year, when we were on a houseboat. These clouds remained for an hour only. After a strong shower, it was really amazing."

And finally, Hari Govind sent in this one, saying, "It was taken at my home in Guruvayur. After a heavy monsoon shower early in the morning, I grabbed my camera just to click the water droplets hanging precariously from the fruit. Looking through the lens, it was an amazing sight!"
