Vinay Skanda has this to write about his visit to Mullainagiri: "It is the highest Peak in Karnataka and is over 6300 feet above sea level. It is about 15 km from Chickmagalur city, which itself is about 280 km from Bengaluru.

The road is very trecherous and dangerous. One should be a very good driver to drive on this road. Once we reach the base, we have to walk about 250 feet by steps to reach the temple. It is very tiring to climb as the oxygen in the air is very thin. But, once we reach the top, the view is breathtaking."

Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir
