Designer Malini Ramani, in association with Grey Goose Vodka, showcased four different resort collections on Day Three of Lakme Fashion Week and had four showstoppers, modelled by Mehr Jesia, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey -- and Ramani herself!

The showing was woven around the theme 'A Journey of Love' -- a free-spirited woman's travels to the exotic destinations of Mexico, the Cote d'Azur in France, Rajasthan and Zanzibar in Africa, in search of a soulmate. Having found him in Rajasthan, she returns to India to reunite with her love and they live happily ever after in Mumbai.

Each of the lines, in addition to the country-wise influences, has been named after a cocktail. So here's a look at creations from 'Mexican Martini', 'Cote Azure Crush', 'Indian Summer', 'Zanzibar Temptation' and 'Bombabe'!

We start off with the 'Mexican Martini' line -- applique work in Mayan and Aztec-inspired hues and patterns. Seen here is a bright kaftan dress in the colours of a Mexican sunset.

Effervescent elegance

Sanea Sheikh struts her stuff in an effervescent long-sleeved fuschia number with richly worked bodice.

Ochre elan

Multi-toned triangles mark the seams and neckline of a streamlined ochre maxi.

Cote Azur Crush

The second line was defined by drapes and jumpsuits like this sky-blue strapless one, worn by jet-setters who travel to exotic destinations like the Cote d'Azur in France.

Rich citrine

A single pleat running down the front defines this softly undulating orange gown.

Fuschia fun

The jumpsuit acquires a more sophisticated silhouette -- note the perfect draping, which stands out thanks to the deep pink colour.

Indian Summer

In the third line, Ramani combined Rajasthani threadwork with shells, mirrors and studs to create sun dresses like this pretty pocketed maxi.

Floral fantasy

Lisa Haydon strikes a pose in a slit-sleeved tunic with multi-hued floral bordering.

Turning on the charm

Diandra Soares is all smiles in a lovely jumpsuit with the same threadwork on display.

Zanzibar Temptation

Fourth in line was the African-themed collection, with snake prints, bandhini patterns and plenty of skin on display! Dig this delicious cut-away swimsuit.

Rocking the runway

Lisa Haydon shows off her curves in a black one-piece with bandhini work.

Bikini bombshell

Diandra Soares steps up in a black bikini, with a majestic kaftan-style cover-up.

Introducing the 'Bombabe'!

The last and final collection, 'Bombabe', consisted of four liquid gold draped gowns, the first of which was modelled by Mehr Jesia.

At 41, she can still give the younger girls a run for their money!

Strapless style

Sanjay Kapoor's jewellery designer wife Maheep stepped out next, in a strapless classic.

A third showstopper!

But the designer wasn't done yet! Third came Chunky Pandey's wife Bhavna, in a low cowl neck.

Four lovely ladies

And finally, wearing her fourth from the 'Bombabe' line was Malini herself -- she is seen here posing with all her prominent showstoppers.
