This can be very stimulating for those who are interested in academics and very depressing for those who do not want to study. 2. Most of your colleagues are very bright (but several students, particularly from quotas, are not that bright) and helpful. 3. IIT Kanpur is renowned both within India and internationally. You get an instant acknowledgement/respect when you tell people that you are from IIT Kanpur |

| USP: | When i entered this college as an under-graduate computer science student, I was not able to write even a 10 lines code in java. But in my final year my guide(prof.Dr. Shriram .R)trained me in such a way that, I developed my own mobile browser for project. Such enthusiastic training, support and encouragement is given. Another most important aspect is the placement. In my department which has 130 students, not even 40 are left without a job now and the companies are still coming for recruitment. Such is the standard of students and university. |
