| Best_college: | Its a very old college which has now become a full-fledged university. It boasts of very experienced professors and a great Alumni. Placements are very good. Students from Thapar University are given good respect once placed in companies. The university has the latest technologies installed in their lab. The infrastructure is top notch. The campus is huge. The course modules are great and there is a great emphasis on practical knowledge. It is one of the best private universities. |

| USP: | It is one of the best. Seriously, whether India today rates it within top 10.. or top 15.. thats not the defining criteria at all. If you wanna look at college profile, have a look at the placements. At BIT Mesra, they simply are superb. |
