We invited you to send in unique rain-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are some more responses!
First up is this one of from Vijay Srivastava, shot in Mejia, Ranigunj, West Bengal.
Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones right here on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is the monsoons, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this one from Ganapati Hosmane, who explains, "I clicked these pictures last week, on a trek to Rajgad near Pune." Looks like the spider whose home this is will have to do a lot of mopping up!
Vijay Bhagoliwal sent in this photograph, saying, "This was clicked in the evening from Kowloon. Very dark clouds loomed over, giving an excellent colour to the sky. What you see in the background is the skyscape of Hong Kong."
"I have taken this pic in Aruku, near Vizag in the midst of the monsoons, when we were driving in the rain," says Vijay from Visakhapatnam.
And finally, a reader who prefers to go by simply CVR sent in this lovely picture, saying, "This family was having fun under the threatening cloud cover at the Marina Beach in Chennai."
