Rohit Verma models gown for Krishna Mehta!

Krishna Mehta displayed a resortwear collection on Day One of Lakme Fashion Week and surprised everyone with her celebrity showstopper -- fellow fashion designer and reality TV star Rohit Verma. Since the line was for women, the flamboyant Verma donned a dress for the catwalk -- don't miss it!
In Mehta's own words, her creations were all about 'strong contrasts and textured movements that portray thrust'. Seen here is the lovely Lisa Haydon in denim hot pants and a purple blouse, the former embellished with streaks of gold paint and the latter with gold embroidery.

White and lavender come together to create a casual look with graphic-printed leggings and a sleeveless tee.
And it looks like leggings will belong in 2010 too -- Binal Trivedi strikes a pose in a tunic worn over fitted white 'n' green.
Polka dots adorn a green and yellow background and the red scarf around the neck adds a French touch.
The dots get decidedly bigger on this sleeveless sky-blue top, worn over tights.
Heels glam up a flirty little earthy number with in-cut neckline and hints of sparkle.
Cut in the style of a trench coat, this hot orange mini is sure to have heads turning.
Sanea Sheikh faces the cameras in a scaley multi-coloured affair.
Diandra Soares looks every inch the supermodel in this one-shouldered black gown with exaggerated yellow floral motif.
And here is Lisa once more, this time in a hexagon-patterned floor-sweeping number.
Rohit Verma made a glitzy entrance in a purple, orange and grey dress (with thigh-high slit, no less) and tons of attitude!
Verma escorts Mehta down the runway at the end of a well-received -- and sure to be talked about -- showing!
