We asked readers what they would do if they had only three years to live life to the fullest? While the contest closes on today (November 23), here are some interesting responses. And keep them coming, because the best entries win prizes from rediff.com:
Here's what Pallavi Mishra from New Delhi would do:
1. Become the Prime Minister of India tomorrow. Effectively reform the functioning of the state machinery. Hold talks with world leaders and bring about disarmament.
2. Travel all over India. Visit the little-explored places.
3. Employ a chef who is adept at cooking all dishes ever created and creating new ones. He would have to be the best pastry chef ever.
4. Hold public gatherings all around the globe and re-establish people's faith in the sanctity of life.
5. Tour the world with my parents.
6. Finish reading all the books on my bookshelf and my parents' (that would include reading the newer additions made
to them whenever we visit the book fair or a book store).
7. Date the best men in the world.
8. Learn Carnatic music, Hindustani music and Western classical (vocal) and become a renowned singer.
9. Persuade enthusiastic young men and women of integrity to join Indian politics and flush out the older, corrupt lot (but retaining the good ones).
10. Slow down climate change by coercing all entities into using green technology.
'Stop paying my insurance policy premiums'
1. Pay off all my loans as I don't want to perish being in debt.
2. Complete my MBA course on fast-track so that I can become the first postgraduate in our family before the world ends.
3. Buy and accumulate gold as much as possible as gold will be the universal currency post-apocalypse.
4. Improve aquatic skills and start spending at least few hours daily in water as a preparation to survive in impending Water world.
5. Start practicing yoga, pranayama, martial arts, etc, to prepare the mind and body to endure the inevitable situation.
6. Stop paying premiums of all those various insurance policies that were sold to me by foxy sales persons.
7. Somehow render all those deadly nuclear weapons useless so that future civilisations can be safe.
8. Try out military rule for next three years and give complacent politicians a run for their lives.
9. Spread enough goodwill and love around so that everyone can live their last days peacefully.
10. Stop taking these doomsday predictions and soothsayers seriously and wait for 2012 to get over as this World is too beautiful to end like this.
'Go camping to the South Pole'

1. Go camping to the South Pole and watch the Aurora Borealis lights.
2. Go on a Tanzania safari in Africa.
3. Last time I skydived from 14,000 ft, I would like to break that record.
