We invited readers to send in their favourite travel pic -- that one photograph that perfectly captures the beauty of a place they visited. And we have been inundated with stunning pics of every corner of India. Here are some more photos that readers sent in from all across India. Take a look!

First up is this picture by Udaya Bhanu of the Jog Falls in Karnataka, which he took during his journey to the state in 2006. He writes, "This was the best view I had during the rainy season."

Lidder River, Kashmir


Prakritish Buragohain from Guwahati sends us this picture of the Lidder River, which he shot while on the way to Pahalgam from Srinagar.

"I was simply struck by the beauty of the river and the surroundings. I immediately stopped the car and started ," he shares.

Stream of Joy, Karnataka


Girish sends in this photo taken near Dharmasthala in Karnataka. He tells us the picture was taken close to the hotel he was staying at, which is aptly called Stream of Joy.

Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu


Krishan Gopal from Delhi writes, "This is a photo of Kodaikanal Lake as seen from the upper lake view. (It) looks like a map of India!"

Coorg, Karnataka


Rohit Dasari sends in this picture of Nisargadhama in the Coorg district of Karnataka.

"It is an island formed by the river Kaveri and is used as a picnic spot near Kushalnagar in Coorg. There are deer, rabbits, elephants, peacocks, a children's play area etc here. We were allowed to get into the water at a few safe areas. Elephant rides and boating can also be done here. It was truly a wonderful experience and it is definitely one of our favourite travel pictures."

Thiruvanmiyur Beach, Chennai


Balraj CR from Thrissur sends in this picture of the Thiruvanmiyur Beach, Chennai.

He writes, "I took this picture on my last week in Chennai after a memorable stay for two years. The beach is very calm compared to other beaches in Chennai like Marina and Besanth Nagar."
