Here's a look at Neeta Lulla's showing from Day Three of the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, which hit Mumbai over the weekend from September 3 to 5.
Drawing inspiration from South Asia's 'Dhakai' motifs, designer Neeta Lulla displayed a stunning set of ornamental, feminine ensembles on the third and final day of the Blenders Pride Fashion tour in the city (click here for coverage of Day One, Day Two, Vikram Phadnis' bridals on Day Three and celebrity attendees).
Draped dresses, tunics and embellished jackets took to the catwalk, as did B-Town bombshell Sameera Reddy, in a seductive black outfit. Here's how things went down.
Pia Trivedi was among the first to strut her stuff in this fitted, green-gold mini accentuated with panels of solid black.
Next we have Carol Gracias in a flirty number, with ruffled layers at the hem and exaggerated puffed sleeves.
Sparkling red vines add spice to this black tunic, worn over sheer leggings.
The lovely Indrani Dasgupta carried off a cocktail number with see-through black netted sleeves and leggings. And with gold accents like that at the neck and wrist, you don't need accessories!
We loved this plunging green outfit, with its embellished neckline.
Pia takes another turn, this time in an all-black outfit, a single draped panel highlighting her waist.
Lulla springs back to metallics in aqua green and blue with this unusual dress.
Model Carol Gracias styles a headband and ankle-sweeping asymmetrical gown.
Styling green and black with a shimmering touch is Diandra Soares.
Candice Pinto sashays onto the runway in a breathtaking gold-encrusted choli and floral ghagara fit for royalty.
Starlet Sameera Reddy shows off her sexy curves in a dramatic black ensemble that is the showstopper for the collection.
Lulla steps out with Sameera at the close of the showing as the audience applauds.
