What: The Mehli Mehta Music Foundation presents a unique festival of outstanding artists celebrating the birth centenaries of Frederic Chopin and Robert Schumann.

Monday, October 18 at 7 pm -- Experimental Theatre

Jinsang Lee -- Piano recital: The 29 year old pianist from South Korea was the first prize winner of the Hong Kong International Piano Competition in 2008 and the Geza Anda International Piano Competition in 2009. He will perform works by Schumann and Chopin.

Tuesday, October 19 at 7 pm -- Experimental Theatre

Sofya Gulyak -- Piano recital: The outstanding pianist from Kazan (Russia), was the first woman in September 2009 to win the first prize and the Princess Mary Gold Medal in the history of the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition. She will perform works by Schumann and Chopin.

Wednesday October 20 at 7 pm -- Tata Theatre

Alavaro Peirri -- Guitar: This artist from Uruguay is internationally acclaimed as a leading personality in the world of guitar. Pierri is a regular guest of major concert houses in Europe, North and South America and Asia and contemporary composers such as Santorsola and Piazzolla have written major works for him. The concert will include works by Paganini, Albeniz and Ginastera.

Thursday October 21 at 7 pm -- Tata Theatre

Pascal Roge -- Piano recital: The eminent French pianist has performed in almost every major concert hall in the world with leading International Orchestras in the UK, US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. He was an exclusive Decca recording artist at the age of 17 and has won many prestigious awards including two Gramophone awards, a Grand Prix du Disque and Edison Award for his interpretations of the Ravel and Saint-Saens concertos. The recital will include works by Chopin, Debussy, Faure, Poulenc and Ravel.

Tickets Rs 500 and Rs 300 available at the NCPA Box Office between 9 am and 7 pm.
